North Yorkshire Police is urgently appealing for information regarding two missing teenage girls from York – Lilly (pictured above), 17, and Keira, 15.

According to North Yorkshire Police’s website, 17-year-old Lilly from York had been reported missing just before 9pm on Sunday (3rd of March 2024), after failing to return home from visiting the shops.

She is described as being white, 5ft 6in tall, brown hair past her shoulders, slim build, brown eyes and piercings on her nose and under her bottom lip.

She was last seen wearing a grey fake-fur jacket, black leggings and black and white Converse trainers.

It is believed that Lilly is likely to be with her best friend, Holly, 16 (pictured below) from Pontefract in West Yorkshire who has also been reported as missing to the police.

According to York Mix, a North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “While enquiries are continuing in their home areas, it is believed the girls may have headed to Bradford.”

Keira (pictured below), 15, also from York was last seen at home on Sunday, at around 1:30 PM on Sunday and was later reported as missing to North Yorkshire Police after she failed to return home with her family being unable to contact her by text or social media.

Keira is described by North Yorkshire Police as being white, 5ft 2in tall, of slim build with long straight blonde hair and, following police enquiries, is believed to have travelled by train to Blackpool.

Keira also has links in Preston, Bradford and Leeds.

There is no known indication as of yet that Keira or Lilly know each other or that their whereabouts are linked.
