Ultimate guide to men’s fashion in spring 2026.

4 men in suits

It is that time of year to put away the quarter zips and sweater vests and bring out the white linen and chino shorts.

But what comes to the front of the closet and what goes back into the attic until next year? Fashion trends fade, but true style is timeless.

With help from Tik Tok influencer Ashbellis The Yorkie discovered this season’s fashion essentials and what to leave behind in the wardrobe after the winter.

Colour trends

One of the most important first steps you can make is creating and following your colour palette. This step can be done by using colour guiding websites such as colour palette guide.

Another accurate way could be by using AI to simply scan your face and suggest colours based off your features such as Claid AI. This will go a long way to making you feel the best in springtime.

To intertwine both new trends and the colour palette, you can analyse fashion events that have just taken place for example Paris Fashion Week.

The biggest thing to note is that neutral colours are trending. Let your outfit do the work, if colour matched correctly, you will stand out.

According to fashion data by ‘ape to gentlemen‘, the in colour for spring is olive green, think Dave Franco in 21 Jump Street.

Old money colours are in, such as navy and olive green being most popular.

Pattern trends

When spring arrives, floral colours naturally come to mind. However, this year I’m banning tacky floral print, and trading up for the polo shirts.

Aside from the fact that patterns have been the male trends, on the runways, this year was minimalistic.

It’s a new season of style, aiming for a look of “old money”, whilst aiming to look elegant and wealthy at affordable prices with my help.

Keep your simple white t-shirts, oversized jeans and quarter zips.

Patterns have clocked out for now.

Spring accessories according to data

Based on a local survey in York we found that 23 out of 30 men would wear navy blue chino shorts in spring.

One out of the seven men argued against these shorts. Richard Moorehouse claimed he would rather wear: “The original cream colour otherwise they shouldn’t be classed as chino shorts at all.”

Another participant who argued against the navy shorts was Jack Taylor, studying at York St John University. He said that: “It just feels like something a golfer would wear and that’s not my style”.

Trending clothes sites

Marketing and retail websites for men’s fashion in 2026 include luxury curators, such as ‘MR PORTER’ and ‘SSENSE’.

It gives key information on what has been researched and key words searched revolving men’s fashion, including popular websites used.

For spring trends of 2026 people are looking at the following:

‘Uniqlo’ has become one of the most popular men’s fashion websites for 2026 as it focuses on a mix of fast fashion, affordability, curated essentials and high-end luxury.

‘ASOS‘ is also the global leader for 2026 as its affordable and maintains a massive selection of own-brand and multi-brand apparel.

As we look at trends for this season, we can only wonder what the autumn season will bring us. Perhaps navy will be out and burgundy will be in. We can only hope this season’s trends match the quality of next season’s.
