Tadcaster Albion welcomed Hallam FC for an NCEL Premier League mid table clash , in an absolutely dominant performance from the Brewers against a Hallam side who had got twenty points from a possible thirty in their last 10 matches.
Goals from Ollie Norman, Charlie Owen, Junayd Cassius-Gill and Joseph Crosby sealed all three points for Tadcaster in an emphatic win on the day.
Only six minutes in Tadcaster’s Mason Wilson cut inside and took a shot on from close range but Hallam keeper Hugo Warhurst makes a great save.
Twenty minutes later Hallam’s Jack Brownell was booked for pulling back Tadcaster’s Oliver Norman who was on a promising attack.
Only a minute later Tadcaster’s Raeece Abdul-Haq Ellington hit a great shot at a tight angle on left hand side of the box but it was parried out for a corner by Warhurst.
Hallam’s Calum Ward hit a great shot from distance which forced great save in the thirty third minute from Sam Green .
Tadcaster went ahead in the thirty fourth minute after a great through ball from Ben Tweed from the edge of the box into Oliver Norman who has his first shot from close range saved but scores the rebound at a tight angle from the left hand side of the goal.
On the stroke of half time Tadcaster’s Ben Tweed was sent off two bookable offences after a blatant dive in the box.
The half time whistle blew with Tadcaster 1-0 up after a very impressive first half from the brewers in a first half of which Hallam hadn’t really been in the running in a first half totally dominated by Tadcaster.
Three minutes after the restart Hallam were also reduced to ten men when Adam Blakely sent off for a second bookable offence after a trip on the Tadcaster midfielder.
In the fifty eighth minute Tadcaster went 2-0 up through Charlie Owen after his first shot from close range was saved by Warhurst Owen fired the ball into the roof of the net.
Tadcaster’s Janayd Cassius-Gill has an immediate impact after only coming onto the pitch a minute prior he hit a great shot from left hand edge of the box into the bottom left corner giving Warhurst no chance putting Tadcaster now three goals in front in the seventy third minute .
With six minutes left to go Tadcaster’s Joseph Crosby chipped the ball over Warhurst getting the brewers fourth goal of the night .
The full time whistle went with Tadcaster beating Hallam 4-0 in the brewers last game of the season in totally dominant display from Tadcaster .
The Hallam defence were unable to deal with Oliver Norman and Ben Tweed whilst he was on the pitch and the Tadcaster defence held strong giving Hallam very limited opportunities.
