Film fanatics pay attention!
Watch Harry Potter under the stars as open air cinema is coming to York this August. Film fans, friends and families can enjoy a picnic before the film is projected onto a large screen in the shadow of the city’s historic Minster . The open air cinema company has toured all around Great Britain, previewing various classics for over 10 years.
But for the first time, they have announced dates at York Minster. Harry Potter and the Philosophers stone will be shown on 29th of August. Pan’s Labyrinth, by Shape of Water Oscar-winning director Del Toro, will be shown on the 28th, whilst the Greatest Showman is to be screened on the 30th. There will also be showings at Harewood House and Bolton Abbey.
Ticket prices for adults are ranging from £13.50 to £20 and £9 for children, tickets go on sale tomorrow at thelunacinema.com so don’t miss out on this fantastic event.
The Luna Bar will also be onsite serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including Esterlla, prosecco, a selection of spirits, Casillero del Diablo wines, and soft drinks.
