This year’s summer is set to be jam-packed with events that can let you support English sports and athletes, with many occurring in England as well as all over the world, keeping you entertained all summer long.
The UEFA Women’s Euro 2025

Hosted by Switzerland from July 2nd to July 27th. The tournament will take place across eight venues, with 16 teams qualified including previous winners England and their runner’s up, Germany. As fans move towards placing bets this summer for their winner the favourites are :
England as the defending UEFA Women’s Euro winner’s from 2022 and finalists in the World Cup in 2023 the Lionesses dominance will be put on display again this summer as a strong favourite following their strong form.
Germany although the team had a group – stage exit in the 2023 World Cup, they hold 8 titles to their name, a bronze medal in the 2024 Olympics and were England’s runners up in the previous 2022 tournament.
Spain following their win of the UEFA Women’s Nations League and FIFA Women’s World Cup, they are a team to watch this summer.
Wimbledon 2025

The 138th Wimbledon feature’s consistent player’s in both the men’s and female field’s, the championship begins on 30th June till 13th July. Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner and Novak Djokvic are among the favourites with promising winning opportunities for the men’s competition with rivalries which will make the court more intense. The women’s court follows the same heat with Aryna Sabalenka and Iga Swaitek being key player’s to watch.
The British Formula One Grand Prix

The Silverstone Circuit will host the British Grand Prix from 3rd to 6th of July, with Media day on Thursday 3rd July, free practice on 4 July, qualifying on 5 July and the race on the 6th July. Along with these F1 events F2 and F3 will make an appearance on track throughout the weekend, whilst other entertainment such as the main stage concert including Raye, Sam Fender and Becky Hill and Fan Zone activities for all ages and family’s, will keep you entertained when the track is quiet.
Cycling 2025

The three Grand Tours of cycling is kicked off with the Giro from May 9th to June 1st, the Tour De France: July 5th to 27th and the Vuelta a España finishing the trio of races spanning from August 23rd to September 14th. The Tours can be streamed on Discovery +, who offer on-demand and live coverage based on subscription whilst TNT sports offers themselves as the primary platform for all three Grand Tours.
Women’s Rugby 2025

The Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025 is hosted by England with an expanded 16 teams competing. Beginning on 22nd August the opening match will be held at the Stadium of Light in Sunderland with England playing against USA. The tournament will be held across eight venues including York Community Stadium, Salford Community Centre, Manchester and it will end at Twickenham Stadium, London on 27th September.
