Oktoberfest celebrations will ensue in York this October with the traditional Bavarian beer festival returning for 2025.
From 17-18th and 24th-25th October 2025, the festival will take place in the Clocktower enclosure at York racecourse.
Tickets went on sale last Monday (May 12th) and can be purchased at the Yorktoberfest website.
York’s very own Oktoberfest is celebrating it’s fifth anniversary with live entertainment, a rustic Bavarian bar and their ‘Dog Haus’ Bratwurst kitchen serving Bavarian style snacks.
Live entertainment will be provided by the seven-piece band The Bavarian Strollers, performing oompah music as well as disco classics.
Drag artist Velma Celli will also be performing, she has performed at all four previous Yorktoberfest celebrations. Ant and Dec commented on her performance saying “what a singer, what a performer!”.
Doors open at 12.30pm for afternoon celebrations and 6.30pm for evening celebrations in anticipation of the entertainment beginning an hour later.
Pints, ales and ciders from Brew York will be available for purchase, as well as wines, spirits, Prosecco and soft drinks.
Early birds receive £5 per person off of regular ticket prices before midday June 29.
Prices from afternoon June 29 and onwards are £25 per person or £150 for a table of six.
VIP prices range from £35 for an individual to £210 for a table of six, VIP’s have a separate entrance to the event and are situated closest to the stage with table service for food and drinks.
The ticket prices include general admission, seating and entertainment with food and drinks being sold separately.
