Finding good food for a small price is something everyone is searching for and restaurants across York have seven days of offers, from the 11th to 17th March, that will help keep money in your pocket.
According to consumer reports, the ongoing cost of living crisis means customers are not showing up to restaurants as eating in is a much cheaper option.
KPMG’s Consumer Pulse Survey, shows that two-thirds of consumers are cutting back their non-essential spending in 2024, with 78% avoiding eating out.
CGA’s monthly Cost of Living Pulse survey showed that only two in five consumers went out to eat and drink weekly in April 2023.
But with offers ranging from £5 to £30, the city’s Restaurant Week is encouraging people to enjoy dining out without worrying about the prices and still contributing to the economy.
Some of the offers include:
Caesars Italian lunch special is at £10 and you can get any two cocktails alongside for £10 too.
Sarras Streetfood has a portion of meat or veg samosas for £5 from Tuesday to Sunday.
Monday to Friday, Double Dutch Pancake House is offering a pancake with one topping and a drink for £5.
