York’s Sun-Kissed Gems: Three Outdoor Hotspots

York is one of the places that is beautiful no matter the season, however York glistens in the summer.

If you’re looking to go on a solo walk or a walk with a group of friends. York, Rowntree Park is a beautiful place to visit.

It is located at Terry Avenue and is open from 8am to 10pm.

The beautiful Victorian park has: stunning flowerbeds, a beautiful lake accompanied by ducks and geese, and even its own tennis court which you can rent.

With plenty of beautiful views and activities, if you don’t go, you will be entirely missing out on this hidden gem.

One place that is a complete must go, is York’s very own Minster.

It is open from 9am to 5pm if you wanted to explore the inside, it is £20 entry if you are an adult however if you are a student it costs £16 and children get to go in for free.

The minster is absolutely breath-taking, it is impossible to miss but in case you do the address of the Minster is York, Deansgate.

Dean’s Park is located right next to the minster, here you can take in the amazing architecture and soak up the sun at the same time .

You and your friends could even bring a picnic and enjoy the afternoon with the Minster.

Another place which is a must visit, is Merchant Adventures’ Hall.

This beautiful old English building is extraordinary, it is incredible to see the structures of the buildings.

It has it’s own outside seating area with a picturesque garden accompanied with a mini pond.
