Harrogate Town expect a cash boost in a clash with Bradford City

Harrogate Town host Bradford City on Saturday 23rd March, at the EnviroVent Stadium, in a League Two clash as they look to continue their unbeaten start to the new year at home.

Despite their league position and having a stadium capacity of 5,000, Harrogate Town have an average attendance of just 2,735.

Harrogate Town are advertising the tickets on their website stating that: “This exclusive early access opportunity allows you to grab your tickets before they go on general sale on Friday 1st March at 12pm”

Harrogate have an away capacity of 700, so the club has advised that “booking early is highly recommended to avoid disappointment.”

With the Sulphurites sitting 7th in the League, and currently occupying a play-off place, the club are anticipating a sell out crowd.

Despite this league position, Harrogate Town recently suffered defeat away to Mansfield Town in a club record breaking 9-2 defeat.

Bradford City have endured a poor season by their usual high expectations, as the Bantam’s would have expected to be around the play offs, especially at this stage of the season.

The Bantams are in 13th place, two points behind Harrogate Town. Despite their performances throughout the season, the club see an average of 15,096 fans flood through their gates every home league match.

However, Bradford have won their last three games giving them a boost in their bid for a play off place.

In the reverse fixture, back in September, the match finished 1-1 after a late equaliser from Bradford forward Tyler Walker.

This match was dominated by Bradford City having possession but failing to deliver in the final third.

In contrast, Harrogate were clinical with only one shot on target but finding the back of the net through Matty Daly.
