Ibrahim Kayran, 19, opened The Beckfield Café today following the closure of the former Pizza Base in mid September.

The business is family-run, with Ibrahim helped by his Mum who has been doing the baking.

Ibrahim said: “I opened this business with the help of my Dad.”

“We have experienced family members coming to help out for the first few days. I have also been working, gaining experience, in one of my cousin’s cafes.”

The Beckfield café is doggy friendly and offers coffee, breakfasts, burgers, paninis, sandwiches, milkshakes and more.

A promotion added on the cafe’s Instagram post said: “Whether your popping in for your morning coffee, grabbing a bite to eat, or just to catch up with friends, we’d love to welcome you!”

“Bring your friends, bring the family and don’t forget your furry companions!”

Opening times are from 8am to 4pm seven days a week.
