Circuit York, formerly known as Kuda, reopened as a flashy new venue on the 2 May after closing its doors due to renovations on 29 March.
As well as bringing excitement for the many ‘party animals’ in York, it also brings opportunities for students to make money without the need to leave their homes.
Many students across the country work half- time jobs alongside their studies however this can be challenging when it comes to staying on top of their workload.
Circuit announced on their Instagram that they were looking for individuals to sell tickets and make commission per ticket sold.
Tickets sold for Friday and Saturday nights earn you 100% of the ticket price in commission.
The tickets bought also work out at a pound cheaper for those who purchase them.
Isabel Baskerville, who studies at York St John University whilst selling tickets, describes the scheme as her ‘side hustle’ and stated that “the money might not seem like much, but you can actually sell a lot of tickets if you promote it on your social media.”
Opportunities like this are often appealing to students in an age where the cost of living is on the increase.
To become involved in ticket selling there is a WhatsApp group invite here.
