A man has been arrested by North Yorkshire Police after three men were assaulted in Leyburn on the 4th May 2025.

The assault occurred in Market Place in Leyburn outside the rear of a public house at around 12:10am and resulted in two of the men suffering from sustained facial injuries.

A man has been taken into custody and has been released, and North Yorkshire Police are still investigating and open to enquiries.

The police are urging anyone with any information or footage of the incident to come forward, including any individuals who may have been present for the assault.

A police spokesperson said: “We’re particularly appealing for information from anyone who witnessed the assault or has any mobile phone footage.”
