Tadcaster Albion AFC has launched a crowdfunding campaign to improve the club, and its link to the community.
Their aim is to raise £20,000 and have they have already raised £1,839 with donations from 10 supporters, with just days to reach their goal.
Tadcaster will put 25% towards going up the English Football League which they are calling their Dare To Dream goal.
They have four aims. These include upgrading the clubhouse and generating income through live streaming and digital expansion.
Tadcaster, currently in the lower reaches of the Northern Counties East Football League Premier Division, pride themselves on being a community driven football team.
Tadcaster finished 17th in the league with 37 points with 10 wins seven draws and 21 loses so far.
Expanding their community impact means the side will put 25% towards helping disadvantaged people and funding a new women’s team.
They want to modernise the clubhouse to make it a community space and to combat their flooding pitch.
Tadcaster are also live streaming their first match against Beverly Town on 5th April, aiming to gain more supporters worldwide.
The club said: “By supporting our crowdfunder, you are not just helping a football club – you are helping to build a stronger community.”
Membership options.
Tadcaster have released three new memberships for fans called Taddy 1892 membership priced at £200 a year, the second called Silver club membership priced at £499 and the last one Gold club membership at £799.
Taddy 1892 memberships allows for a say in what decisions the club makes, exclusive merchandise and streaming of home matches.

The gold membership gives fans everything and marketing benefits to 13,000 contracts, match sponsorship and hospitality for to eight people.
People don’t have to donate to claim a reward, the least you can give is £1.10.
The club said: “Even if you are unable to claim a reward, every donation makes a difference.”
