York City slash ticket prices in a bid to fill the LNER Community Stadium increasing hopes of National League survival.
Despite a treacherous and unpredictable season, York City have continued to boast a loyal fanbase with an average of 4,545 spectators per match in an 8,000 capacity stadium. (More information here)
York City are currently 19th in the National League and Adam Hinshelwood’s team have a big task on their hands to stay in the division as they face fellow relegation candidates Woking FC.
This Saturday could be a vital three points and no one knows this more than Co-Chairs Matt and Julie-Anne Ugla, therefore, the pair have cut prices from a usual adult price of £22 to just £10 which emphasises how much the club are dependant on the fans turning up to support and spur on the team.
The Ugla family have explored the possibility of slashing prices earlier in the season but time constraints amongst a mixture of various operational challenges meant it was too short notice to implement.
Other prices include:
Aged 14-18 & Students: £5
Under 14s*: FREE
Carers: FREE (when accompanying ticket holders with a disability)
The club have said: “Tickets will be on sale from 4pm online and from the ticket office. The ticket office will remain open until 6pm today (Saturday 6th April).”
They added: “Student and under 14 tickets will only be available from the ticket office, and ID for proof of age may be requested upon entrance on the day.”
