Rising sports star Victoria Lee, nicknamed ‘The Prodigy’ has died suddenly aged 18.

Lee’s cause of death has yet to be confirmed but it was announced that she had died on December 26th by her sister. In a recent Instagram post her sister stated that: “She has gone too soon and our family has been completely devastated since then.”

Both her brother, Christian, and sister, Angela, have won MMA ONE World Championships. Lee was predicted to join her siblings having been tipped to win her own World Championship one day.

Before her passing Lee took time out her fighting career to finish her high school education in 2022. She had previously won her first 3 professional fights. Lee was also an extremely skilled modern pankration fighter and won a junior world championship in the sport.

Family was very important to Victoria who was involved in both her siblings’ careers and trained at her family’s gym. Since her passing her family have reportedly closed their gym in Hawaii and will no longer train students in MMA.

ONE championship chairman Chatri Sityodtong has said over social media: “I am heartbroken over Victoria’s passing.” The official ONE championship website has written a tribute to the late teen which you can check out here.
