York’s National Railway Museum have been hit with a blow to their £50 million fund
An application by the popular national museum for the Heritage Lottery fund, which would gain the museum £13.4 million to put towards their own projects, has been rejected.
Reporting from the museum, Brett Blacker added that, if approved, the fund was going to be spent on a redevelopment of the main hall, as well as other projects including a Hyperloop pod and an interactive Wonderlab.
“We’ll have to wait and see what the future holds for the National Railways Museum.”
