The result left Eastleigh in 13th place in the final standings.

York will look to continue their good form into the playoffs.

where they will face off against Oldham on Tuesday 20th May

York are unbeaten against Oldham in their last three games with two draws and one win

A disappointing end to a very average season for Eastleigh who would of been happy to stay away from the relegation zone this season

This game saw six yellow cards as it was quite a scrappy, York had five to Eastleigh’s one.

York manager Adam Hinshelwood was pleased to end the season on a high, despite having some frustrations about a slow start to the contest, which his team overcame.

“It took us ten to 15 minutes for us to get into the game, but there was some brilliant stuff,” Hinshelwood reacted.

“We deservedly went in at 2-0, and the second-half was sort of really protective in the middle of the pitch, which made it difficult for us.
